: I have spent a good deal of time, unsuccessfully, searching for the following supposed Shakespeare quote, "love asks me no questions, and gives me infinite support." Is this really a quote from w.s. and if so from what? Thanks a lot for your help.

:I googled and found a whole slew of "romantic quotations" sites saying it is by WS. But none of them gives a reference and I must say it doesn't sound Shakespearean or even 16th century at all.
