ON THE BORRY (BORROW) - Something that is borrowed. Kentucky woman speaking of a leased vehicle: "It's on the borry." April 26, 2005.

A coworker said it today. It livened up an otherwise boring meeting.

I knew that phrase 65 years ago in the East End of London.
