: I've come across an expression "who's your daddy" in a few movies recently and am interested to know the origin and meaning of the same.
"Who's your daddy?" is a line in a song called Time of the Season by The Zombies, from 1969. The stanza goes something like this:
"What's your name? (What's your name?)
Who's your Daddy? (Who's your Daddy?)
Is he rich? (Is he rich like me?)"
