: : Has anyone comse acrooss the phrase or saying 'to have no cotter with'? Is this just a Midlands phrase?

: I've not heard it in the United States. I took a quick look through some slang books and didn't find it.

It would help a lot if you could say what the phrase means! There's a dialect word "cotter" which means "an entanglement; fig. a difficulty, trouble, worry" but as you haven't explained how your phrase is used I have no way of knowing if that fits your phrase or not. (VSD)
