: : What is the exact quote about "Everyone is crazy except you and me and sometimes I wonder about you as well?" What is the origin of the quote? Thanks very much.

: My 2004 diary (which has a quote for each day) has it as "All the world old is queer save thee and me, and even thou art a little queer." Robert Owen. I can't vouch for the accuracy of my diary, tho'. pamela

Not to second-guess your diary, but the quotation was known (perhaps incorrectly) even in the backwoods of Tinyville (ca. 1940,I think). "I sometimes think that all the world is queer but me and thee, dear. And sometimes I think thee a little queer, too." SS
