: Ok, so I ahve been in search of the origin of "It's so crazy, it just might work", and SO far the closest anyone has gotten me was to say it was first used on the A-Team. I credit that show with many firsts... a spoiler on a non-cartoon van, Mr. T's introduction as a star... the first action show/Wheel of Fortune crossover...
: But I cannot beleive it is responsible for that phrase.
: Can anyone shed any light?

It goes back at least a few decades, along with its companion piece "Thanks, I needed that," traditionally scripted for the war-movie hero who's been slapped into lucidity or sobriety by a buddy.
