The Phrase "I'll be your Huckleberry" was used in the movie "Tombstone". The actor Val Kilmer played "Doc Holiday". There is a response to this in the Archives here on The Phrase Finder, Posted by Bruce Kahl on April 01, 2000 The reply was given incorrectly. "Doc holiday did not say this to Wyatt Earp in the movie, he said it to "Johnny Ringo" who was a fast gunslinger that road with the outlaws in this movie. "Doc Holiday (Val Kilmer) went to fight "Johnny Ringo" because he knew Wyatt could not beat him in a gunfight so he defended Wyatt and killed "Johnny Ringo". He said this phrase when he approached him.
