: : : I was talking with my boyfriend and asked him something and he answered me with "if you act right". So I asked him what that meant and he laughed and said you have to be southern. So I think I know what he meant but not sure exactly.

: : Guessing at what he meant. If you behave yourself -- act right -- you will get a reward. Act like you're somebody. Be a model of good conduct and dignity. And don't "act ugly."

: Like ESC, I'd have to guess at his meaning. You should have told us what you asked him, since "acting right," in the eyes of a boyfriend, does not necessarily mean following the precepts of our parents or the church--or being a model of good conduct.

If you want a do-right all-day woman
