This is just a whimsical phrase meant to be funny (humorous). It uses a figure of speech called "zeugma," in which an apparently parallel use of a modifier or phrase actually is not parallel but results in an incongruity. Groucho Marx was a master of zeugma. (Did she leave in a taxi? No, she left in a huff.)
