: What does this phrase mean?: "(name) ain't got nothin on me."
'Either one of two things. "He ain't got nothin' on me when it comes to strenth," means he doesn't exceed me in that department. The French have nothng on the English when it comes to finding holidays to celebrate.
More commonly, perhaps, at least nowadays, "The cops ain't got nothin' on me" means they've no crimes to charge me with, or no evidence of one.
