Physically: she has large (Audrey Hepburn) eyes. Socially: she has a docile persona.

I take it that if the phrase is used to refer to her docile nature, she need not have brown eyes (could be blue)??

Having thought about it for a few days, I thinkthe answer is no... brown eyes are a part of the equation.
