: I need the definition of "Thats a lot of blue sky". I have no idea what it means and cannot find it anywhere-any ideas?

It means "That's worthless; it counts for nothing." I'm hazy on the origin, but I think the context where it's used is finance. I've read that a judge once ruled that something or other (a right asserted in a contract, maybe) had the same value as a patch of blue sky.
