Green on Thursday...

Posted by ESC on February 04, 2006

Green on Thursday and red on Friday.

People in the U.S. were instructed to wear red today (Friday) in recognition of heart disease in women. When I was in high school in the 1960s in West Virginia, those colors on those days were taboo. If you wore green on Thursday, you were qu**r and red on Friday meant you were a wh*re.

My question, have you heard of that "custom" or whatever? I asked some people today and the answer was, no. I wondering if it was just a local thing.
