: What does it mean "to notebook" somebody? I was watching One Tree Hill and this girl made a guy watch the movie "The Notebook". Later while talking to a friend she said "I notebooked him."

This is a one-time usage, not a common phrase. She means that she made him see a "chick-flick" that a teenage boy would not go to unless forced. It's not clear without more context whether she is just showing off her control over him or saying that she got him to be romantic or something else. RRC
