"Don't let the world pass you by"?

Does anyone know anything about the phrase; "Don't let the world pass you by"?

It means "Don't just watch the merry-go-round. Jump on and take a ride." Or, spelled out a bit, don't just watch others have a life, or move their lives ahead come hell or high water. Live life, don't wrap yourself up in your bubble. The train of life is moving on, get aboard. Otherwise you'll be left at the end just holding a few lifeless mementoes of things gone by. SS
