The author of the question is "a former barrow-boy from the Manchester markets." Here is another example of his talk (as rendered by Cocker): "Just after we married I said to Edith, I'm goowin' down pub wi' me mates. And if me Sunday dinner i'n't on table when I get back, thee's trouble." (I don't need a translation of this.)
