: : : To pop the cork=Is that something you do when you want open champaigne or drinks in glass?

: : : Thanks

: :
: : Originally, yes. However, it has become somewhat extended (no pun intended!) to mean to become overly excited. How can I put this delicately. If you think of what happens when a bottle of Champagne is uncorked and then imagine a (male) human physiological action which roughly resembles it, you will be getting close!

: : DFG

: Could you be moer specific on the *physiological uncorking of a male*?
: Do you mean *flashing* a certain part of body?
: thanks

No,not flashing.
The poster was stating that to "pop a cork" can be compared to a man having an orgasm, an ejaculation of sperm.
