Get away

There was something attractive in her overflowing enthusiasm and she had such physical charm that with me she could get away with anything. She was nice to have around, like flowers or a bowl of fruit.

Her attractive personality allowed her to behave badly without people criticising her. She was able to 'get away' with her behaviour. It doesn't mean throw away or get rid of things.
