Cats Curiosity and Fat

As a child in Dublin my Grandmother used to say -Curiosity Killed the Cat but Information Makes you Fat.

With the help of this site I now know something about where the saying "Curiosity Killed the Cat" came from and I would like to find out if "Information Makes you Fat" is known to a greater audience than me and my late Grandmother.

I've certainly heard it, but that's not of much use to you because I'm in Ireland too. The version with which I'm familiar is: 'Curiosity killed the cat, information made him fat . . . and he BURST!!'

Can anyone please help?

I've never heard it (I'm in the U.S.). But I like it!
