If it did exist, I am sure that it is archaic by now. However, I am more than a little surprised that your spelling didn't elicit comment in the past. How did you get away with it for so long? :)

(I am not sure if the addition of "sobeit" in the subject was for a humorous effect, but (according to Merriam-Webster) it is not a word either).
