Raised by wolves

Although the phrase "raised by wolves" usually means uncivilized and without manners, my mother prefers the original meaning. As she always says, wolves have quite a good reputation for raising children, consider that Rome was founded by Romulus and Remus, twins who were raised by a she-wolf.
