Piece, not peace

Plainly said. She is done talking about whatever is at issue, has said all she has to say( which is her "piece") and she is not making a rash decision, she has considered it (counted to three). Counting to some number (generally 3-5, sometimes to 10) is often and has long been suggested as a way to avoid impetuous or foolhardy actions by taking time to reflect.
