Come undone

Maybe I'm missing something, because I don't know the song, but to "come undone" normally would mean to become untied or unfastened, whether referring more literally to a shoelace or tie, or more figuratively to a relationship or a person's stability. There's an older usage of "undone" as in "Alas! I am undone!" which basically meant "I am ruined/brought down low".
