: Bleeding-edge technology. I took a computer class recently and that phrase was in the manual. I am assuming it is a negative phrase based on the term "cutting-edge tecnology."
I typed "bleeding edge" into Google and got lots of links. It seems to be a POSITIVE phrase despite its yucky associations. This page has a definition:
