Some may be surprised to learn (as I was) that in actuallity, there are more days every month when the moon and sun share the sky than not. Sometimes you can't see the tiny sliver or even new moon near the bright sun, or it occurs early, early in the morning (I'm missing that for sure!) but if you were paying attention to the cycles of the sun and moon for the purposes of prognostication, I think you would soon discover this fact.
