: Would appreciate some input here. By "homeys and honeys," is more meant than "guys and gals"?
: "flava" obviously means "flavor," but is a ticker the same as a crawler? As far as I can tell, "dekko" is a quick look. Could that mean a brief excposure in a commerical slot?

'Dekko'/'Decko' is indeed a look. It comes from the Hindi 'dekho' meaning 'look!'. Late 19thC and clearly brought back from India by British troops.
