: this is the name of a cornish cab company, a road and a B&B in Newquay, Cornwall, but where does it come from? What does it mean (people have said it was the surname of a man years ago, possible from Cornwall)
Is this actually a word or name, or a play on words? eg. Would it have originated from 'Coming now', or 'Come in now'? I have no idea, I'm just wondering. Particularly with a cab co and B& B using it as a name. There are plenty of cases of names that have evolved this way.
