EVERY MAN A REMBRANDT - Slogan for paint-by-numbers kits introduced in 1951. The inventor was Dan Robbins of Chicago. Doug James, a Florida-based art collector who is trading in paint-by-numbers pictures, said that paint-by-numbers wasn't the first mass-produced homemade art.
