: Hello, I was just hoping to find out the origin and meaning of the phrase "to squeeze some one's shoes". Thanks in advance for any information.
I have heard
a variation here in the US:
"To break his shoes"
This means to apply pressure
on someone as in:
"I know what he told me and I want him to live up to his
promise so I am gonna break his shoes till he comes clean".
