: Anybody ever heard of/know the derivation of the term "Rothschild Bride?" Is it even a saying, or rather a reference to an actual event? Anybody?

A "Rothschild Bride" would logically be either a daughter of the Rothschild family getting married, or just possibly a woman marrying into the Rothschild family. I suppose you might just possibly use it figuratively to mean something like "a bride from a very rich [Jewish] family". But I don't think it is regularly so used. As happens so often, you haven't provided anough context for this board to help you. (VSD)
