: : Origin/meaning of right-ho?
: It's a more emphatic version of "Right!" used as a response expressive of agreement, acquiescence or compliance. There is more than one version and more than one spelling. You may spell it "righto," "right-ho," "righty-ho," or "right-oh," and probably a few other ways. I spell it "right-o." It appears to have made its first appearance in the late 19th century, according to the Oxford English Dictionary, s.v. "righto."
