: I was quoted the phrase "A good apple falls apart in threes " and I am wondering what the meaning of this phrase is.

: If anyone could help it would be much appreciated.

Never heard it. Did a Google search and found nothing. I don't think it even makes sense: a good apple doesn't "fall apart" at all. The best are firm; this week's favorites are the Fuji and the Honeygold.
