: I'm wondering how to properly explain the phrase "canons of evidence"
: it seems that it does exist. Thanks many, many
One of the meanings of canon is "rule," as in "rules and regulations." Canons of evidence are the rules governing what can and what cannot be used as evidence, and how evidence may be collected and preserved in order to be used in court.
