Ten two and four

what is the meaning of "ten two and four"?
This saying is used in one of Tim McGraw's songs....when a hoe was a hoe, a coke was a coke...etc.

It's printed on every can or bottle of Dr Pepper. There's no period after the Dr, which I just learned at
