"being cyrus" what does that means..?

Cyrus is a name - but it also sounds like 'serious'. "being serious for a moment" or "being serious" could be jokingly transformed to "being Cyrus" in the same way that people can "be Frank" abuot something.

In "Con Air" the villain is "Cyrus the Virus"...
