what does "beware of the ides of march" mean??????????????????????????

The Ides of March (today, March 15th) is the date when Julius Caesar was assassinated. In Shakespeare's play Julius Caesar, he has a soothsayer (a 44 B.C. psychic) tell Caesar "beware the Ides of March," which bothers Julie, but doesn't cause him to change his plans. he gets the knife soon after.
