Can any one explain what is meant by "get the flit"

Flit is the name for an insecticide and "Get the flit" was one of its slogans.

I think perhaps we should do a conflation of the two slogans offered. It actually appeared in more than one form, so both are probably right. But the one I remember is, "Quick, Henry, get the Flit!" Those were the days. SS

It turns out that "Quick, Henry, the Flit!" was coined by none other than Dr. Seuss:

I learn something new almost every day. I knew that "Dr. Seuss," or the voice behind him, was Theodor Seuss Geisel. But I never knew that Geisel was an ad-writer for the makers of Flit. SS
