Wire in the Blood
My parents have discovered a British TV crime series called Wire in the Blood. Any clues to the meaning of the title?
I've seen the promo for that show on BBC American. Just a guess. I thought "wire in the blood" meant "wired" as in a jazzed up intensity of feeling. Like when the detective is hot on the trail of a murderer.
No help about the origin from this side of the pond, I'm afraid. However, a second series has just started on ITV here in Britain.
