Smoking outside offices

does anybody know the modern term for a group of people smoking on the pavement outside their offices

A haze?

A clutch of suicidals?

Diehards?

And, to be fair, how about a phrase for those who hit the snack vending machines pretty hard?

An addiction

Carb loading?

Sorry I forgot it but there is a new slang word going around like clutch, group or bunch, specifically meaning the group of smokers outside buildings. I've seen it in blog-like magazines. Perhaps Slate.
