Guerilla queer bar

While attending a Statewide Fairness Summit, I learned a new (to me) phrase. Guerilla queer bar - members of the LGBTQ community go en masse to a straight bar and turn it into a gay bar for the night. A nice young man, seeing me write it down as "g. queer bar" explained that it was "guerilla" not "gorilla." I said, innocently, "Oh, you don't wear gorilla costumes? Pity."
