What could that mean? Where did you see it or hear it? It could mean that the cards bear a new illustration of a cat, or that a new Caterpillar tractor is planned ("in the cards") or that a new side of Catherine Willows will reveal itself on CSI. It is possible that "on the cards" is used here to mean "in the cards," an expression which means forthcoming, as though predicted by the Tarot cards.
