: What does the phrase "from ballistic to organic" mean? I came across it in the following sentence, "'It's part of a transition from ballistic to organic,' he says, 'reducing the number of people who could make demands on my time.'"

: I wonder whether its meaning is "from complexity to simplicity".

More likely, rapid uncontrolled change to slower controllable change. "Ballistic" as in bullets and artillery shells, versus "organic," growing like a tree.
