Lookin for a certain phrase
Does this phrase go like this?
"Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me"Yes, that's how that phrase goes. It goes better if you add a comma after "once" and a comma after "twice."
There was an adage from an Ian Flemming book - "once is happenstance, twice coincidence, three times enemy action" - not quite the same thing, but it fits in that repetitions section.
