My 3 year old son has been running around saying 'Puna' or 'Your a Puna' or 'I put puna on your face and you can't get it off' just recently.

I have done some research on the Net for the word Puna and its derivatives:
punna means merit. Punna is clever, knowing, knowing everything. Whoever doesn't know is called somebody who still doesn't have punna.

Ponna is a town south east of Bombay.

Was it a child saying the words or an adult?

Cheers,

Neville
