: : : : : : : : does anybody know the modern term for a group of people smoking on the pavement outside their offices
: : : : : : : A haze?
: : : : : : A clutch of suicidals?
: : : : : Diehards?
: : : : : And, to be fair, how about a phrase for those who hit the snack vending machines pretty hard?
: : : :
: : : : An addiction
: : : Carb loading?
: : Sorry I forgot it but there is a new slang word going around like clutch, group or bunch, specifically meaning the group of smokers outside buildings. I've seen it in blog-like magazines. Perhaps Slate.
: I'm not finding it. I did find some other smoking phrases. www.wordspy.com has: buttlegging, chipper, nico-teen, smoke-easy and smoxploitation
A stippled gathering like a shadow on an X-ray? A tumour?
