Death of a thousand cuts

: The meaning of this phrase was posted a few years ago. But does anyone know of a movie that includes these lines:

: "Chain them to opposite walls. In the morning they die the death of a thousand cuts."

I belive it is in the movie "Big Trouble in Little China", but it has been a while since I have seen the movie. Can anyone verify this?
