Background to Lucille Ball's last words
The change in the shows' names reflected the relationship between the spouses. The insistence of equal billing by Arnaz, even though Ball was in the public's mind the star of the shows, seemed to suggest an unease between the couple. They divorced in 1960, two years after the final tx show ended.
Her last words, "My Florida water", were spoken in response to being asked "Is there anything you want?".
