It's all herbs

Do you know or have you even heard the expression 'It's all herbs? My father used to console me as a small child when I had hurt myself or dropped an ice cream on the floor. This was in Glamorgan in the 1950s although his parents were both English (North Somerset and Southampton) His father had served in the British army in Bermuda and Gibraltar in the late 19 century before going to Wales.
