Might wide of you

I've always been under the impression that there are two phrases. "That's mighty wide of you" (i.e., broadminded and willing to give room to other opinions) and "That's mighty white of you" (i.e., acting like a white person).

Only 4 Google hits (not counting this site). I suggest you try using your phrase at a racially-mixed Weight Watcher's meeting and see how many people are offended twice.
