: : : Listening to America: An Illustrated History of Words and Phrases from Our Lively and Splendid Past by Stuart Berg Flexner (Simon and Schuster, New York, 1982) or any other book by Mr. Flexner.

How good on phrases is the Flexner book (Listening)? I know it's illustrated, but I'm more interested in the phrases. For instance, does it include a lot of phrases that are not included in the lists on our Phrase Finder website here?
